Who am I, Really?

Call me Inke! I am a Mallorcan artist who specializes in anthro animals, creatures and similar subjects for my artworks. I was born the 3rd of August of 2005, but I will mentally be always 5 nanoseconds old.

Oh, you're really interested in me?
Well, it's hard to start honestly.I myself have a hard time communicating, making more sense when I was diagnosed with autism at around 13-14 years old of the whys. Human faces and stares scare me, and I cannot handle sometimes the amount of socialization I have to engage in to be able to fit in. I get misunderstood often due to my weird ways of being... and I found my refuge and my true identity within art.My main goal in life is to be able to communicate, express and relief myself via this form of creation fully. I've been drawing and doodling since I was just 3 years old with a blue pen on the walls, and now I am one step closer to becoming an actual professional with visual storytelling.What I enjoy about art the most is how much freedom one has in their own imaginary worlds. We never realize how vast our minds are until we sink in, and this self exploration and expression has allowed me to cope in a healthy manner. I use mostly creatures, animals and nature for it due to the sheer pureness and rawness of them. Humans are odd, double faced, perhaps even malicious and way too difficult to understand - plus it feels redundant to use humans in my artwork when I can literally do whathever I want. I grew up understanding our fellow living beings. I think it's also important to remember that no matter what, we as humans are still very much animals with needs and instincts to be fulfilled. We are primal, and that's a good thing to be.As you see, my self-explored neurodivergence and my art obsession are kind of what has defined me as who I am. But as some extra notes of my personal enviroment, I was raised in Mallorca (Spain) with care from my Argentinian mother and my Mallorcan stepdad. My biological dad is a really long story, but if there's something I can thank him for is to show me the world as it was... aaaand for somewhat starting this whole art deal of mine.I had a not necessarily rough, but still odd life honestly. But currently, being in my second decade of life, I have never been happier since puberty started. Despite my mental hijinks (and potential undiagnosed shenaningans), I feel hopeful for my path ahead and, as long as I can create out of passion, I will be fine.
